About Nancy Wilson: Nancy Wilson is celebrated as a seminal musician in rock ‘n’ roll history. A guitar virtuoso from the age of 9, Nancy (and her sister Ann) lead the multi-platinum rock group, Heart, who have sold upwards of 35 million albums. Nancy is revered as an ingenious guitar player, and as a gifted lead vocalist. In fact, that’s Nancy singing on Heart’s first Number One hit, “These Dreams.” As a songwriter, Nancy has co-written a collection of indelible songs that have earned their way into the classic rock canon (“Magic Man,” “Crazy on You,” “Barracuda,” “Straight On”). During an era when females where scarce in rock ‘n’ roll, Nancy helped carve out a place for women to front rock bands and dominate on stage. Her icon status was cemented when Heart was inducted into the Rock ‘N’ Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012. In addition to her storied rock career, Nancy has also built a successful career as a film composer, including lauded scores for a number of Cameron Crowe films such as Say Anything, Jerry Maquire, Almost Famous, Vanilla Sky and Elizabethtown. In 2020, Nancy turned her attention to recording her first solo album. Released on Carry On Music in May 2021, YOU AND ME sees Nancy plaing guitar and singing on all the tracks, including 9 new, original songs, and a stunning cover version of Bruce Springsteen’s “The Rising.”

NANCY WILSON LINKS:
If a band is talented enough, dedicated enough, and sometimes lucky enough to garner a career lasting 50 years there are bound to be ebbs and flows they must navigate along the way. STYX was started in Chicago in the 60's by Chuck and John Panozzo, grew to legendary status with four back to back multi-platinum selling albums in the 70's and 80's with the addition of Tommy Shaw (vocals, guitars) and James “JY” Young (vocals, guitars) and to this day still create new music for their legions of fans with Lawrence Gowan (vocals, keyboards), Todd Sucherman (drums) and Ricky Phillips (bass) in tow. They have overcome the passing of John in 1996 along with several line up changes, and yet still create new music and perform to sold crowds, as they did Friday night March 25 at Parx Casino in Bensalem, Pa.
STYX is currently on the road celebrating 50 years of making music as they support their 17th new album 'CRASH OF THE CROWN' which was released on June 18, 2021.
Being the road warriors they are, STYX has perfected the art of the live show. With high energy, fun crowd interaction, story telling, lights, a cool stage set up along with brilliant harmonies and musicianship STYX live is one hell of an experience!
Tonight's show had the hits we all can sing line for line including "Lady", "Too Much Time on My Hands", "Blue Collar Man" and "Renegade" along with new songs "Crash of the Crown", "The Fight of Our Lives", "Save Us From Ourselves" and more. Gowan and Shaw handled a good majority of the lead vocals as they brought each song to life backed by incredible harmonies provided by JY, Phillips, and Will Evankovich (who produced the last two albums and now joins the band on tour).
Seeing Chuck join the guys on stage to perform "Lost at Sea" and several of the classics was a true treat and the Parx Casino crowd gave this founding member multiple standing ovations.
This Summer STYX will head out on tour with REO Speedwagon and Loverboy so there will be plenty of opportunities this year to witness this truly magical event.
