Legendary Swedish metal pioneers ARCH ENEMY brought their 'Blood Dynasty' headlining tour to
the Theatre of the Living Arts in Philadelphia Monday night May 5th in support of their 12th studio album "Blood Dynasty".
Groundbreaking vocalist Alissa White-Gluz has a unique blend of charisma, stage presence, crowd command, and otherworldly extreme vocals and absolutely performed a high-energy, stellar set. The guitar onslaught brought on by Michael Arnott and Joey Concepcion was truly remarkable. These two are wizards on guitar and their riffs have that extreme metal punch that unleashes hell throughout a venue.
Drummer Daniel Erlandsson and bassist Sharlee D'Angelo hold down the rhythm section of each monster song performed and are in no way hanging in the background. Erlandsson completely obliterates the drums and provides the thump and meat to the band's performance.
My first time seeing Arch Enemy live was one for the memory banks. To feel the power of Alissa's voice and the unmatched intensity of the band live made me question why the hell I waited so long to see ARCH ENEMY!
